The guitar solo you mentioned is included in the great Rhino "Monkey Hips and Rice" anthology, and it's almost 20 seconds starting at the 40 second mark. As you both know, every second of guitar that Lowman played is worth hearing. All the best to you.

Iggyiggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14943661630697527170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5286533675204442403.post-53298822714715778732012-01-30T22:43:42.522-05:002012-01-30T22:43:42.522-05:00Two versions, now double down jetydo! Two versions, now double down jetydo!Bob Pomeroyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06706867947611308784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5286533675204442403.post-88090736795348293422012-01-25T02:11:07.805-05:002012-01-25T02:11:07.805-05:00Slummer The Slum is a great track. This version doesn't have that. According to allmusic.com, their 1959 album featured a version of the song that clocked in at under 2 minutes, just like yours posted here. I wonder where the longer version was first released?jetydohttp://www.last.fm/user/jetydonoreply@blogger.com
